Johan vineyard is located where the maritime Van Duzer corridor meets the Willamette Valley AVA. Clonal material is a mix of 95, 96, 114, 115, and 667. Soil is Helvetia Silt Loam. The vineyard sits atop a ridge, with slopes facing north and east. It is Biodynamic and Demeter certified.

The 2017 disgorgement of Johan Vineyard Blanc de Blanc Non Vintage is made from 100% Chardonnay. It is fermented in 2nd/3rd year Oregon oak barrels. It was aged in bottle for 27 months before disgorgement on February 2, 2017.
